It’s been just over a month since One Plus 5 was launched in India and it looks like a new colour variant for the flagship smartphone is already on the way. The Chinese tech firm could soon be unveiling its One Plus 5 in a new avatar as it has teased about the same on Twitter. “something new coming up! Can you guess what it is?” says the One Plus 5 tweet accompanied by an image showing the outline of a One Plus 5 handset. Although there is no word as to what exactly will One Plus launch, Twitteratti assumes the arrival of the White colour variant. It could also come in ‘Mint Gold’ colour variant , which showed up on the Tenaa certification website back in June. The ‘Mint Gold’ option was seen listed alongside two other colour options – ‘Stars Black’ and ‘Gun Grey’ – which could be different names of ‘Midnight Black’ and ‘Slate Grey’ colour variants as well. Of course, OnePlus has not yet revealed if the ‘Mint Gold’ version even exists or not. It’s worth noting that OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 are already available in ‘Soft Gold’ colour. This variant was launched a month after the launch of smartphones. At the time of the launch, OnePlus launched its OnePlus 5 smartphone in India in two colour variants – Slate Grey and Midnight Black. OnePlus recently rolled out an OTA update for its OnePlus 5 users across the globe. The company explained about this update, OxygenOS 4.5.7, on its official blog post. The update brings some new features alongside multiple optimizations and bug fixes. The highlight of the update is the arrival of the Electronic Image Stabilisation or EIS for 4K video recording. Besides improving Wi-Fi connectivity and battery, the update also brings the security patch level of the handset to July 1 2017.
