New Samsung Galaxy watch spotted on FCC Certification Site

Samsung Electronics is one of the most famous brands worldwide. It is the only company that has been able to mark its authority in the technology market apart from Apple. Recently Samsung has come up with its wearable range called the Samsung Galaxy Watch which comes closest to competing the Apple watch series in terms of power and performance and is equally feature-rich and comes in with a wide range of colours as well as price range. Although Samsung recently released its Samsung Galaxy Active 2 which in 2019. It is suspected Samsung is going for the big bucks after unofficial appearances of Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch on the web and now it has also been spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification site. According to Sammobile, FCC has listed four variants of Galaxy Watch, Two of them come with LTE connectivity and the other two with Wi-Fi connectivity in 45mm and 41mm designs. It also points out that the upcoming watch will have a design that is smaller than the existing Galaxy watch of 46mm and larger than that of Galaxy Active 2 which is 44mm. It will also have the capability of monitoring Electrocardiogram feature which previously was only boasted by Apple in its Series 5 watch. South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety cleared Samsung to roll out this feature in its existing Galaxy watches. It is also predicted to have a Glass DX protection, water resistance to 5ATM, a durability rating for MIL-STD-810G and also built-in GPS and LTE. Samsung is also keen to bring back its rotating bezel design.

Smartwatches have come a long way from where they were a few years ago, People have seen how efficient they are how they can transform the way we communicate with our devices. Hence traditional watch manufacturers have slowly started making their designs and smartwatches. On the other hand, Apple is still ahead of the pack because of its early transition into this segment which has made it capable to provide with more features and capabilities and a greater market share. Also, cheaper variants of these expensive watches have been launched by Fitbit and Huawei which are equally popular and efficient have stormed the market and made it even more competitive.
