The budget friendly Android device from Nokia, Nokia X2, has been promised to be offered at “lower and lower price points”. Today India witnessed the original price of Rs 8,200. Now the Nokia X2 is another addition to a bunch of high quality and reasonable Android handsets in the Indian market.
As mentioned by a Microsoft executive the company had the meaning to bring this device at “lower and lower price points”. Timo Toikkanen, head of Mobile Phones, Microsoft Devices Group, told International Business Times, “The Nokia X2 elevates the Nokia X experience with a stellar new design, ease of use and new Microsoft experiences. We’re proud to continue to bring smartphone innovation to lower and lower price points.”
Nokia, the Finnish mobile company is owned by Microsoft now. The device was launched at Rs 8,200 but some retailers though that the price is Rs 10,900. Nokia X2 features 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor, 10.92-cm (4.3-inch) IPS touch screen display, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB, dual-SIM facilities, 5MP primary camera and so on. The device runs on Android 4.4.3 Jelly Bean OS. At such a low price, the specs and looks sound good enough.
To go by the features, this new Nokia X2 looks quite different from its predecessor and it’s lighter too. The phone is available in glossy green, orange and black, glossy yellow, white and matt dark grey colour variants. The device has no Gorilla Glass protection. The camera features of this phone include touch focus, landscape orientation, exposure compensation, image editor, auto exposure and many more.
