Nokia today unveiled the Asha 210 feature phone that boasts of a physical QWERTY keyboard, affordable pricing and both single and dual-SIM variants. The Asha 210 is the latest entrant to Nokia’s successful line-up of Asha phones aimed at the budget segment and at people who want the basic features from their phones without paying too much.
The Nokia Asha 210 has a 2.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels and a 2 MP primary camera. The phone has very basic connectivity features with only support for GPRS/EDGE and no 3G but it does offer Wi-Fi support. The Asha 210 has a four-row physical QWERTY keyboard and a dedicated physical button to launch WhatsApp messenger that comes pre-installed on the phone. Internal memory on the Nokia is limited to 64MB but it does offer support for microSD cards up to 32GB. The dual-SIM variant of the Asha 210 also lets users swap out the second SIM card without the need to switch off the phone.
The Nokia Asha 210 is expected to hit stores within a few weeks for a price of around $72 (Rs. 3,900 approx.). The phone will be available in multiple colours including yellow, black, cyan, white and magenta.
