Nokia’s mid-ranged Windows Phone 8 powered smartphone, the Lumia 720, is now available for pre-order in India.
The Nokia Lumia 720 is now available for pre-order on Flipkart.com. The online shopping website has it listed at Rs. 18,999. The Lumia 720 was first unveiled along with the Lumia 520 at MWC 2013.
The Lumia 720 is a single-SIM smartphone and runs on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 OS. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Krait dual-core CPU, Adreno 305 GPU and 512MB of RAM. It has a 4.3-inch IPS display with a 480×800 resolution.
It comes with additional features such as NFC (Near-Field Communication) and wireless charging. The Lumia 720 has 8GB built-in storage expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot. The rear of the smartphone has a 6.7MP camera and the front has a 1.3MP camera. The Lumia 720 has an all-plastic body, is 9mm thick and weighs 128 grams.
A 2000mAh battery powers the smartphone and the company claims that the Lumia 720 will last for 23 hours of 2G talk time, and 13 hours of 3G talk time, along with 520 hours of standby time.
