Nova Operating System Is All Set To Have A Lightweight Version
Nova OS developers have announced that the operating system is all set to have a Lightweight version. Dubbed as Nova Lightweight 2015, the upcoming edition of the Ubuntu-based GNU/Linux distribution is expected to provide a beautiful design to its users. With an enhanced user interface, it comprises a new icon theme designed exclusively for the Cuban distribution.
“As usual this distribution by its design is intended to provide a migration process as smooth as possible, especially for users who are accustomed to using Windows Like other operating systems,” says Alex Sanchez, developer, Nova OS.
The lighter version of Nova is expected to update all low-end computers and replace Microsoft Windows across the country.
Though the availability details are still under the wraps, the upcoming Ubuntu-based operating system will come with many new features. If the reports are to be believed, the Nova Light 2015 would bring a new GTK based graphical installer. Additionally, all the applications and software in the soon-to-be-released would feature the updated version of LibreOffice office suite, LXTerminal terminal emulator, Midori web browser, Leafpad text editor, PCManFM file manager and Audacious music player.
