In a blog post, the company said that the Android Nougat-based OxygenOS v4.0.3, besides bug fixes, adds Wi-Fi IPv6 support toggle and Smart Wi-Fi Switcher. The Smart Wi-Fi Switcher allows the handset to switch to data connection in areas of poor Wi-Fi connectivity. As for the shutterbugs, the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T now get optimised exposure while capturing images in night time. The overall stability of the camera app has also been improved. Some bug fixes for Line are included as a part of the OxygenOS v4.0.3. OnePlus in its blog post has also mentioned some of the issues that still persist with the two smartphones. Users can witness some Wi-Fi disconnections at times. In such situations, they can head to Settings > Wi-Fi > Configure WiFi (Top right hand corner) >IP address format (IPv4 = Single line, IPv6 = Multiple lines). If the IP address is IPv6 then turn it off and see if it fixes the disconnections issue. In case a users is facing frequent Wi-Fi disconnection due to switches between Wi-Fi and data, then they can try turning off the Smart Wi-Fi Switcher in Settings > Wi-Fi > Configure Wi-Fi to solve the problem. Like the case with previous OxygenOS updates, the v4.0.3 is also rolling out in phases.
