OnePlus 3 Launched In A Soft Gold Colour Variant In Us
OnePlus has launched the Soft Gold colour variant of its newest flagship killer – OnePlus 3 , in the US. The Chinese company will also be introducing the version in Europe, Canada and Hong Kong on August 1. However, it has not revealed any details about the availability of the Soft Gold version in India.
“This will not be your typical gaudy gold smartphone, and has a rather toned-down, light and elegant look,” remarked the company on its official forum. It also pointed out that the Gold variant will only be available in limited quantities.
OnePlus launched its current flagship – OnePlus 3 , in India a while back at a price of Rs 27,999. Running its own custom OxygenOS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the OnePlus 3 smartphone features a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution, which is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under-the-hood it, packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with a massive 6GB RAM. This makes the OnePlus 3 one of the very few smartphones in the market to have such a large amount of RAM.
The phone also has a 64GB of inbuilt storage, but there’s no option for expansion. On the camera front, the handset houses a 16MP Sony IMX298 autofocus rear camera with optical image stabilization for better shots and videos, LED flash, and an 8MP front-facing camera. It can also record videos in 4K resolution.
Users have the option to customize the LED notifications, status bar, quick settings bar, and some more options. The home button integrates a fingerprint sensor. As for connectivity, the OnePlus 3 supports NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. It is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery with support for Dash Charge fast-charging technology
