On February 7, OnePlus will simultaneously introduce the OnePlus 11 and its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad. The tablet marks OnePlus’s first-ever launch, while the phone has already been unveiled in China.
OnePlus confirmed the launch date of February 7 and provided some design information for the OnePlus Pad.
“It will have our self-developed Star Orbit metal craft integrated with an aluminum alloy CNC. The camera is centered on the back of the device, something that frees users from any inconveniences when holding the tablet horizontally,” OnePlus wrote in a blog post. Previously leaked renders also showed a selfie camera on the tablet that rests at the top of the device when held in landscape orientation.
“Another outstanding feature of the OnePlus Pad is the cambered frame. The arc is designed in line with ergonomics, something that allows users to hold the tablet comfortably for an extended period of time without fatigue,” OnePlus added. The tablet will be available in a new Halo Green colorway. We’re unsure if OnePlus will have more color options at launch.
Sadly, the business did not provide any other details regarding the impending tablet.
