ITVOICE NEWS: Micromax has renewed its agreement with Opera for pre-installation of Opera Mini browser on its Android devices. The companies initially entered into the agreement last year and after that Opera-Mini came pre-installed in Micromax Android phones and tablets.
All the devices being shipped to India, Russia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal will include Opera Mini browser pre-installed in them. Opera Mini helps the consumer to save upon the data costs by compressing the webpages to as little as 10 per cent of their original size before sending them to the smartphone.

Opera offers features like smart page notification, download manager, password manager, visual tabs, Speed Dial website shortcuts, saved webpages for offline viewing as well as cloud-compression of webpages, all included in Opera Mini browser.
