It seems that Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is working on a new smartphone. A smartphone from the company has received TENAA certification.
The smartphone listed as Oppo A83 will reportedly be powered by 2.5GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It will sport a 5.7-inch display with 720×1440 pixel resolution. It is said to sport 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.
Measuring 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7mm, the smartphone will be backed by a 3,090 mAh battery. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will come in two colour options – Gold and Black.
Earlier this week, Oppo launched its bezel-less smartphone Oppo A79 in China. Priced at 2,399 Yuan, the smartphone can be purchased from the official website of the company in Black and Champagne colour options. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 processor and runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It sports a 6-inch FHD display with 1080×2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card. The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery that comes with company’s own fast charging technology called VOOC.
The device features a 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied with LED flash. There is also a 16MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture for seflies. On connectivity front, the device offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Last month, Oppo launched its flagship smartphone Oppo F5 in India at Rs 19,999. The smartphone is exclusively available in Flipkart in different colour options. The USP of the device is its 20MP selflie camera which is powered by AI technology. The company also claims that the users can use the front camera to unlock the smartphone.
