Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched Joy Plus, a new budget smartphone, at Rs 6,990. The phone will be available soon in various stores across India.
Successor to Oppo Joy, the Joy Plus sports a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) display. The phone’s white coloured variant has a frost matte gold frame while the other variant comes with a blue rear cover and electroplated frame.
Oppo Joy Plus is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and has 4GB storage expandable upto 32GB with a microSD card.
The phone sports a 3MP rear camera (with Sony 2nd Generation stacked CMOS camera sensor) and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It has a 1,700mAh battery just like its predecessor.
Joy Plus runs ColorOS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
In terms of connectivity, the dual-sim phone supports3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
