Oppo has launched two new smartphones called the Neo 5 (2015) and the Neo 5s. The two new Oppo smartphones fall in the entry-level segment and look almost similar to the original Oppo Neo 5, that was launched by the company last year.
According to the listings on the company’s website, the Oppo Neo 5 (2015) and Oppo Neo 5s are upgraded versions of the original Neo 5 ( 2014.) The Neo 5 (2015) and Neo 5s come with 11.43cm (4.5-inch) FWVGA IPS display and run on Android 4.4-based Colour OS 2.0.1. Both the smartphones pack 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot. On the camera front, Oppo Neo 5 and Neo 5s feature 8MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. They are juiced up by a 2000 mAh battery, and offer dual-SIM support.
The only difference between the two smartphones is that of their processor. The Oppo Neo 5 (2015) comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, while the Oppo Neo 5s runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core SoC. The Neo 5s also offers 4G LTE support, unlike the Neo 5 ( 2015 .) The company has not shared any details about the availability and pricing of the devices so far, but we expect an official announcement coming our way soon. Watch out!
