Q). How is AOC looking at its Indian operations? What are the top most priorities here?
AOC, During the Last decade, has become one of the leading Consumer IT brands in India. AOC achieved impressive sales performance in India. With years of in-depth market experiences, strong product knowledge, keen customer insights, powerful manufacturing background, sound cost structure, and solid financial standing AOC has the key to sustain growth. Our Target for the 2013-2014 is to achieve more than 30% market share and to gain position as the number one monitor brand in India.
Product Innovation
AOC has introduced finest Monitor models for the Indian market including Feature Packed LEDs, 3D Monitors, Power Saving Monitors and Many more. This year we are planning to introduce some of the stunning displays for our consumers. As the market is looking out for more compact devices, we have recently introduced AOC My Smart All-in-One (AIO) A2258Pwh which is Android 4.0.4, ICS-based monitor, enables users to utilize the latest apps on the Android market. Through a USB WiFi dongle or LAN connection, the AOC A2258Pwh Smart AIO is readily connected to the Internet, enabling a hassle-free surfing experience. We are soon bringing in the 29″ UltraWide IPS LED Monitor for the Indian Consumers, which will revolutionize the work & entertainment experience.
Diversification
Tablet PCs are the multi-functional, multi-media, application-enabled device with mobility that consumers have been long waiting for. The outlook for the Tablet PC’s market in India seems very promising as the overall consumer spending and acceptance is increasing in the country. AOC has entered the Tablet market with the two flagship products under the brand name Breeze. That is 7 inch and 9.7inch Android tablets. To compensate the decreasing demand in PC segment, we are expecting Breeze tablets will play a pivotal role.
Expansion
The company has established its presence all over India covering both established and emerging markets with fair penetration in C-class cities and is focused on an aggressive strategy to expand into the constantly growing market. At present AOC has a network of about 4500 dealers, SIs and resellers which we plan to increase to 5500 in 2013-14. AOC has an even mix of national and regional distributors. The current network can be scaled up to meet future requirements and maximize returns for all concerned.
Partner Programs
Our focus is on encouraging partners to do AOC business. AOC has always been very keen on encouraging the channel fraternity with new schemes for every new season. We have incentive based partner programs all over India on a quarterly basis. These programs help motivate the partners to sell more TVs and Monitors. In 2013-14, we have plans to engage regional partners in different incentive based programs as per the sales volume and revenue.
Strong Marketing Strategy
Business marketing is important for company’s growth and stability. Marketing works on bringing company brand image into the spotlight as well as acquiring new customers. At AOC, we are committed to keeping existing markets and aggressively expanding into new markets. This is achieved through regular and consistent communication of product updates and launches, use of promotional material such as, brochures, cards, inserts which are made available to partners for use in their own communications. Participation in events and IT exhibitions ensures visibility to the masses. Online communication via email, social media marketing; efficient use of internet marketing tools like website, Google ad words, Videos on You-tube, is done to target the end consumer.
Increase in Reseller base
Increase in reseller base has been an ongoing process in AOC. The resellers are provided optimum support and advice by informed and experienced sales teams. This strategy has contributed to the tremendous increase in AOC sales over the years.

Q). what are your upcoming technologies for India?
AOC is always known for its innovation in the display segment. AOC has introduced some of the magnificent display products in Indian Market like Flat Panel LEDs, 3D monitors and power saving monitors.
We are planning to launch our Ultra wide display products in this quarter. The monitors with Wide display, high resolution and advanced display technologies will change the work and fun experience with a PC.
Android market has opened the gate for millions of Apps available in the store, which has attracted the consumer demand for the android devices across the world. Understanding the consumer behavior, we are working on Android based devices for the Indian Consumers.
We have recently introduced AOC A2258Pwh Smart AIO, with a ready connectivity with Internet, the monitor allows the consumers access to the Android market.
AOC has entered the tablet PC market with two products 7 inch and 9.7 inch Android tablets under the Breeze brand name. Featuring stunning display, faster processor, advanced connectivity options the Breeze is the feature packed tablet in its price range.

AOC monitors currently have around 4500 partners all India.

Channel ecosystem plays a pivotal role in making our products widely available and our channel schemes helps to empower them and make them more profitable. Our partners work with us and we have a mutually fruitful business model where we provide them training, reward them, create competitive environment to make business more profitable and relation sustainable for both of us. Channel schemes help motivate channel partners to achieve company’s target and earn some extra incentives.

Q). what are the new challenges that you face in relation to the Indian market?
I think challenges are necessary in order to grow; they are necessary to improve company’s strategy and polish up our goals; to help us to become a successful brand in whatever endeavor we are involved in. The IT market is witnessing a new gadget every day. With the technological advancement the portability of the computing devices are increasing. The consumers are focusing more into laptops, Tablets etc for its ease of carrying which comes as a great challenge for us. To overcome the same we have more than 20 monitors in our product range, we endeavor to cater all our customers with new and innovative products.
