Oxigen Wallet announces winners for a unique youth oriented “selfish “ referral program promoting the instant money transfer between peers. Rajat Jonwal from Ahmedabad rode away with a gleaming new Royal Enfield Thunder Bird
Oxigen Mobile Wallet announced the winners of its PEER-TO-PEER money transfer program, Give Selfishly. Oxigen Mobile Wallet is a prepaid digital wallet that enables customers to store their money virtually,
Giving money away never achieved such coveted rewards and selfish ends – the essence of the campaign being named Give selfishly, which meant that even when you give, you have a selfish motive to gain or to win something in exchange.
Oxigen used the insight of the youth behavior of wanting to maximize his everything he does in life, and decided to make peer to peer money transfer rewarding for them as well. Thus was born “GIVE SELFISHLY” – a counter-intuitive yet very youthful campaign which says Giving or giving back money can become rewarding or have a motive.
The campaign was based on its feature of peer to peer money transfer through the mobile number or phone contacts. As per the program, each time an Oxigen Wallet customer sends money (as low as Rs.1/-) to his friend’s mobile number, the recipient just needs to download & sign up with Oxigen Wallet app & the sender will get a cash back of Rs.10 in his wallet with maximum cash back worth Rs.100.
Ankur Saxena, CEO of Oxigen Wallet commented, “The youth of the country are constantly on the look out to maximize what they get out of life. They often owe each other small amounts of money – which roll over from conversation to conversation and stay unpaid because of endless procrastination. This unique campaign was a resounding success with 24000 new signups and around 30506 new peer to peer requests were initiated. We at Oxigen are absolutely delighted by the response received and are excited to note that people from remotest of places from India participated in the campaign, to make it a success.”
The 50 day campaign culminated on May 8th, 2015, with the felicitation of the bumper prize winner Rajat Jonwal. Rajat initiated as many as 517 requests and rode away with a gleaming new Royal Enfield Thunder Bird. The keys for which were handed over by Ankur Saxena, CEO, Oxigen Wallet.
Bharat Yadav and Aryan Kathuria were the second prize winners. Aryan and Bharat got a coveted iPhone 6 each along with the three third prize winners who received Titan Vouchers worth Rs 10,000 each. Bharat and Aryan initiated 483 and 497 requests respectively. However, the total number of signups fetched by Rajat and Bharat were 447 while Aryan contributed to 445 signups.
