Paladion Networks, a global cyber security leader, announced today that UNICOM awarded Paladion’s RisqVU ADR “The Best Analytics Paladion receiving Award -PhotographTool of the Year” at its India Analytics Summit 2016. Paladion’s RisqVU Active Detection and Response (ADR) is a Big Data based security analytics platform that helps discover unknown cyber threats through statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and visual analytics. It also helps in automated triage based on contextual, historical, and external threat intelligence to prioritize alerts for active response and remediation.

The UNICOM India Analytics Award recognizes those organizations, teams and practitioners who have achieved landmarks to deliver business outcomes using Analytics technologies & techniques. The “Best Analytics Tool of the Year” is awarded to the most productive tool in analytics.

The summit attracted over 15 plus senior analytics experts from companies such as Oracle, Target, General Motors, Ebay, and more. The awards witnessed over 70 participating companies in different categories which included several big names such as Deloitte, Wipro, ThoughtWorks, Dell, Visa and several others.

Ravi Raman, SVP & Head of Engineering – Security Intelligence & Analytics of Paladion, commented, “We are excited and honored that UNICOM has recognized Paladion’s RisqVU ADR. We conceived ADR to address a growing challenge in today’s threat landscape; attackers are using creatively engineered malware and attacks that evade traditional signature based defenses. By the time, these threats are discovered the damage is already done.

“RisqVU ADR was not only built to help detect these hidden threats but also to help security professionals predict and prevent attacks through its visual analytics feature that runs on a big data platform. Huge amounts of data from different security technologies and contextual & historical data from the entire IT stack is plugged to a security intelligence feed that helps anticipate and prepare for an attack,” concluded Ravi.

The finalists for the “Best Analytics Tool” included HCL, Teradata and Allstate.
