Panasonic Eluga I5 smartphone launched at Rs 6,499
Panasonic has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Eluga I5. Successor to the last year launched Eluga I4, the smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE support.
Price and availability The Panasonic Eluga I5 is available for Rs 6,499 and comes in Black and Gold colour options. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Going by the price, the smartphone will face competition from Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Moto C Plus.
Specifications The Panasonic Eluga I5 comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Asahi Dragon Trail Glass. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor.
The device offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
The smartphone comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 2500mAh battery. Measuring 143x71x7.5mm, the device offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Earlier this week, Panasonic launched its Eluga A4 smartphone at 12,490. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card.
The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Eluga A4 comes with the company’s own ARBO personal digital assistant
