Panasonic has expanded its product portfolio with the launch two smartphones under its Eluga series Pulse X and Pulse. The new smartphones are available across all retail outlets in the country. While the Eluga Pulse X is priced at Rs 10,990, the Eluga Pulse bears a price tag of Rs 9,690.
In terms of specifications, the Pulse X features a 5.5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. There’s 16GB internal storage, expandable via microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.
For imaging duties, the Eluga Pulse features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options.
On the other hand, the Eluga Pulse comes with a 5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.
The Eluga Pulse has a 13MP rear camera (with LED flash) and a 5MP selfie-snapper. On the connectivity front, it offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 2,200mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
Recently, Panasonic launched its rugged convertible at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain. Dubbed Toughbook CF-33, the hybrid has a starting price of around $4,099 and will go on sale starting May this year.
The company has introduced two variants of the CF-33 – one with a keyboard and one without it. The hybrid laptop has six different operating modes that are claimed to offer an enhanced user experience.
Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 runs Windows 10 and comes with an IP55 digitizer pen that is designed to work with Windows Ink workspace apps. In addition, it has twin hot-swappable batteries that offer longer battery life.
