Panasonic has launched its Lumix FZ2500 digital camera in India. Priced at Rs 94,990, the camera is claimed to have advanced image and video shooting capabilities. The FZ2500 comes with 4K recording functionality that allows users to capture rich video at 30fps and then select the best photo after shooting. The superzoom camera is equipped with a 20x Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens that claims to offer high optical performance. The 20x optical zoom assembly’s inner structure allows for smooth zooming, thus making it possible to shoot jerk-free videos.
Pansonic Lumix FZ2500 also has a 1-inch 20.1MP high-sensitivity sensor that enables users to capture clear images with minimum noise levels, even when shooting at high ISO levels. The ‘Venus Engine’ features multiple noise reduction systems that are claimed to achieve high colour reproduction and better image quality with natural and true-to-life detail. The camera comes with built-in ND filters and 4 setting modes are available with direct switch operation. These allow videos to be recorded with balanced exposure levels, even in high-brightness environments. In order to enhance the video performance even more, a variety of effects are available. With the newly added Slow & Quick feature, users can apply motion effect with just one button press during video recording. Last month, Panasonic launched its Toughpad tablet at CES 2017. On the specification front, the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q1 sports a 12.5-inch display of 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The standard model is powered by a 1.58GHz Intel Celeron chipset paired with 4GB of SDRAM. There’s also 64GB eMMC storage and 128GB of SSD-based storage. On the other hand, the performance model is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage, in addition to having 256GB SSD-based storage.
