Panasonic P100 with HD display launched in India, price starts at Rs 5,299
Panasonic has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its latest budget smartphone. Dubbed Panasonic P100, the device comes with 4G VoLTE support.
Price and availability The Panasonic P100 comes in two variants — 1GB RAM and 2GB RAM and is priced at Rs 5,299 and 5,499 respectively. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipakrt in Blue, Black, Gold and Dark Grey colour options. Going by the price, the smartphone will compete against the Xiaomi Redmi 5A which comes at a starting price tag of Rs 4,999. The company has also introduced the “Gold Utsav consumer offer” with the smartphone. Under the offer, some lucky customers can get a chance to win special gifts on the purchase of the Panasonic 100. The offer is valid from February 8 to March 31. The lucky customers will receive a Coupon card with a unique code. Some of the customers can also stand a chance to win 10 grams of Gold with an authentication certificate.
Specifications The Panasonic P100 comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor.
The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter with also with LED flash for selfies. Measuring 145x73x9.9mm, the device comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFI, Bluetooth and GPS.
