PhotoFast, the leading premium iOS smart accessory company based in Taiwan, introduced the world’s first iType-C portable storage device this year during ShowStoppers@IFA event in Germany. In answer to the demand for interface compatibility in Type C storage, the iType-C portable storage device designed specially for Apple integrates Lightning, Type C, Micro USB and Standard A interfaces, meeting the needs of MacBook 12” users for access to other mainstream interfaces. With the PhotoFast iType-C, multi-platform file transmission becomes fast and simple. Now users can easily make back-ups from iOS, MacOS, Windows, Android, Linux devices and smart television, etc. As the biggest partner of Apple, PhotoFast spares no effort in providing a comprehensive storage expansion solution to all users.
At IFA this year, three PhotoFast iType-C storage models designed exclusively for Apple were introduced. With storage capacities of 64GB/128GB/200GB, which can support large media libraries, including photos and music. The devices can respectively store up to 14, 29 and 46 high-definition films. Developed elaborately by PhotoFast, the high-speed USB 3.0 transmission chips enhances the storage experience for users, now HD films can be transferred in less than a minute. As the first portable storage device with a 4-in-1 interface, PhotoFast iType-C still only weighs 17g in a very convenient design, making it no extra burden to users. The device also comes with the PhotoFast ONE App, which not only helps users store music, photos, videos, documents and contacts, but also supports data back-up from cloud-based services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and iCloud Drive. The device also has a built-in back-up function for photo albums in Facebook and Instagram; users can view photos on popular social networking sites and download in bulk to create back-ups.
“Apple has been evolving. The new generation of MacBook 12” will integrate all the I/O ports into a Type C interface to match the new generation of high-speed transmission. With the efforts of tech giants such as Apple and Intel, we can foresee a future where not only iOS/MacOS, but also other systems will adopt the Type C interface. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one good example,” commented Mr. Warren Wang, CEO of PhotoFast. Wang further added, “Hence, we introduced the world’s first 4-in-1 iType-C external storage device, along with the PhotoFast ONE App which took us tens of millions of dollars to build. Integrating software and hardware, we intend to provide a comprehensive solution for our users, so that we can provide Apple fans and non-Apple users alike the perfect user experience”.
