eInfochips is a product and semiconductor engineering services company having its base in Ahmedabad and Sunnyvale (USA).
Dr Sam Pitroda, chairman of National Innovation Council inaugurated the fifth design centre of eInfochips, a software firm, in Ahmedabad in Saturday. The centre will majorly focus on product engineering.
The fifth design centre of eInfochips will be a 400-seater facility that will focus on advanced technologies in the sectors of aerospace, defence, semiconductor, security and surveillance, along with software development, application specific integrated circuits (ASIC), field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and system on chip (SoC) solutions, informed Pratul Shroff, founder and CEO of eInfochips.
eInfochips is a product and semiconductor engineering services company having its base in Ahmedabad and Sunnyvale (USA). The company was established in 1994 and is credited to have designed over 500 products for key verticals so far. Einfochips has eight design centres across the country, out of which five of them are in Ahmedabad and one each in Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai.
According to a Business Line report, eInfochips has grown at over 30 per cent YoY over the last 7 years. It currently employs over 1,000 professionals and is eyeing a turnover of Rs 600 crore by 2016, said Shroff.
