PlayStation 5 users are facing a bug that averts them from downloading specific games and applications. This problem is causing games and applications to get stuck at ‘Queued for Download’ or in an error state. This seems to be happening when an item is a 1st set to download. What’s even more annoying than being not able to download a game is that the PS5 library displays that users own the game, but the PS5 Store has said that the user doesn’t own the game.
As per a report, PS5 has been hit by its 1st bug right after its launch. Users have reported that their games and applications are stuck at ‘Queued for Download’ or display a download error. This happens when an item is 1st ready to download and, in this case, the Downloads menu does not list anything. This stops users from downloading the game or withdrawing the game to try and re-download.

The PS5 game library does display that they have already owned the game or the application, but the Play Station 5 Store shows that the user needs to buy it.
IGN has mentioned that a lot of users have reported claim issues with the PS5 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, however the PS4 version of the game downloads with no problems. Other users have reported issues with Godfall, Demon’s Souls, Spider-Man Remastered, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and the Disney+ application.
Allegedly, users who got in touch with Activision concerning the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War issue were asked to factory reset their console and that has solved the problem. But it would not be probable for every user to totally remove their Play Station 5’s storage to be able to download these games. There seems to be no other solution in sight.
