Plextor entered the Indian markets with its range of SSDs by announcing its distributors for India. Plextor SSDs will be Distributed nationally by Mumbai based M/s Prime ABGB Pvt. Ltd. and Kolkata Based Tirupati Enterprises.
Announcing the same, Mehul Kagalwala, Country Director, PLDS, commented; “It took us a while to appoint the distributor partner as we wanted the right partners who can drive the business with value addition and provide us the kind of reach and market share that we are looking forward to in the Indian Markets.”
“Mumbai Based Prime ABGB was already selling Plextor range of SSDs thru its e-commerce website and was doing significant work for promoting the product. The decision to appoint them as the National Distributor was rather an easy one as they had already proved what they can do for the business and with the value adds that it brought to the way of doing the business for SSD was amazing,” added Kagalwala.
He further said, “Kolkata Based Tirupati Enterprise was another partner who has an excellent distribution network and a strong knowledge about the product and the technology and can add value to the overall distribution of the product in the Indian Markets. The 3 series of SSDs that have been currently launched in India are M5M MSATA Series, M5Pro series and M5S series. These SSDs are backed by a comprehensive 5year and 3year warranty respectively and are available in 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB capacities.
