Polygon Launches “Web3: Made in India Tour”, to Educate, Inspire and Support the Indian Web3 Developer Ecosystem

Polygon, the developer of the leading platform for Ethereum scaling and blockchain development, today announced “Web3” Made in India Tour,” a month-long initiative that aims to educate, inspire and support the  Web3 ecosystem in India. The tour will feature 8 events in total spread across the country culminating with the inaugural Polygon Connect event in Bangalore on Dec 1, 2022.

Polygon Connect is a global initiative that unites every part of Polygon’s ecosystem via live events, hackathons, and community gatherings. Connect will bring together every aspect of India’s vibrant blockchain and software developer landscape through a thought-provoking, keynote-powered, and networking-heavy mainstage event. Hosted by Raj Shamani, great host, and content creator. He talks about everything from startups to building a startup of his own, from opportunities for brilliant minds in India to creating opportunities for them, and is crazy about the fast evolving world of tech! Polygon Connect Speakers include Sandeep Nailwal- Co-Founder of Polygon, Ryan Selkis – CEO of Messari, Sailesh Lakhani – Founder of Sequoia Capital and Haseeb Qureshi – Managing Partner of Dragonfly, amongst others. As a lead-up to Connect in India, Polygon will host ‘Guild Events’, community-driven events that will take place across seven cities starting from Kochi on November 5 followed by Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi. The roadshow aims to bring together some of the brightest minds in the blockchain world to provide IRL, hands-on blockchain education at Guilds, across the country. These Seven Guild events in different cities across the subcontinent will help local developer communities come together and build for a global Web3 audience. For these roadshows, Polygon is teaming up with best-in-class partners Animoca Brands, Sino Global Capital, and Push Protocol to celebrate the efforts of people who have made Web3 possible, across India. Polygon is collaborating with the partners at Reskill (link to the website) and Pesto, to engage with 50 campuses across the country to take India’s blockchain education to the next level. And at the end of November, Web3: Made in India Roadshow will culminate in the first-ever Polygon Connect: India in Bengaluru, on the eve of ETHIndia.
