Swedish Post and Telecom Authority will appeal a court decision against its plan to eliminate Huawei from its 5G networks.
The company has said that it stopped 5G spectrum auctions after a court suspended parts of its previous decision, in which it followed the UK in banning Huawei equipment from 5G networks, dictating national security risks.
Huawei had appealed against PTS’ decision to remove the Chinese company, saying it wanted a court to make sure if it had been taken as per the law.
The Swedish company said that it will appeal to the administrative court’s decision on reserving to the next case.

The auctions were initially hoped to begin this week and would have profited Nokia and Ericsson as PTS had asked firms to take part to eliminate Huawei and ZTE equipment from their infrastructure.
PTS said that it would wait for a decision from the administrative court of appeal to agree on how to ensue with auctions.
Huawei told that it had no plan for more legal action and was in the making to have a constructive dialogue with PTS.
Some parts of PTS’ decision preceding the imminent 5G auctions will not apply until additional notice, the Stockholm administrative court has said in a decision which will let Huawei’s contribution in Sweden’s impending 5G spectrum auction.
