Q3 Technologies, a niche global IT services provider was nominated at CeBIT.AU Business Awards 2013, for 2 categories – Innovation and Service Distinction. The nomination came after many submissions were received by CeBIT.AU Q3 technologies was competing against many big players based in New South Wales, Australia and many other world-wide companies participating at CeBIT 2013.
The nomination for Innovation category was for a ‘Patient Assistance App’ being developed for a US based company- MedXForce. This app provides motion and speech impaired patients with a new quality of life so they can communicate with other people while recuperating through various stages of recovery in the hospital. The application aims at providing confidence and moral support to patients when they can’t even perform the basic activities of everyday living and the application ensures that they are not isolated or disconnected from the world.
Q3 Technologies developed this user-friendly app for patients undergoing treatments under different stages. Various features to abet ease in communication have been implemented including pictorial representations over text, menus and two important buttons based on criticality: Alarm and Attention. The application has been developed to support both Andriod and iOS platforms and the online and offline modes are added attractions to this app that enable continued service with or without internet connectivity. This innovative app also implements text-to-speech functionality.
