Prateek: How has the pandemic affected business in India and abroad? Has it opened doors for new opportunities?
Rajesh Khurana: Pandemic has led to a drastic change in the way we live and conduct business on day to day basis. This is driven by a necessity to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour thereby leading to extensive digitalization of our daily life needs and sudden exponential demand for WFH( work from home) computing devices. This, coupled with having a huge consumer base in India, is making the Market for Chips and personal storage grows very fast in India.
Prateek: How the brand BIWIN positioned itself in a highly competitive market?
Rajesh Khurana: BIWIN recently reached an agreement with Acer to bring Acer-branded memory and personal SSD storage products to customers in India.
Acer is a leading brand known to Indian consumers. BIWIN is a leading quality Flash storage devices manufacturer. This unique combination along with the strength and network of distributers – Fortune marketing make our product offerings very exciting for Indian consumers. We are working along with Fortune to leverage its wide network of Sub-distributers, resellers, retailers, and e-commerce partners.

Prateek: You offer a wide range of storage products SSD, memory products, and chips. Which among them is a dominant vertical for BIWIN?
Rajesh Khurana: BIWIN is globally one of the top companies in the DRAM and Flash Storage Field with in-house IC packaging capability. We have already completed over a billion+ IC packaging with a 99.7% yield rate. We also have a close partnership with all the original vendors in flash and Dram. In addition, we provide white-labeled flash storage products through our world-class manufacturing facilities. BIWIN products include SSDs, embedded storage chips, memory cards, memory modules, and customization services.
At the moment we are focused on the unique combination of the ACER brand, BIWIN’s manufacturing capabilities & Fortune marketing’s reach in India.
Prateek: Are there any futuristic products ready for launch in near future?
Rajesh Khurana: We recently launched Acer’s Predator branded SSD and Dram storage products for the Gaming segment. The Predator branded memory and personal storage solutions are just the perfect picks for hardcore PC gamers and esports professionals who seek high-end gaming solutions to ensure a competitive edge. The new high-end flagship memory and storage portfolio under the Predator brand begins with state-of-the-art memory modules and blazing-fast solid-state drives. We are working on launching a wide portfolio of storage products such as UHS-I, UHS-II SD cards, CFexpress memory cards & USB external storage products.
