Rajasthan Computer traders Association (RCTA) organized Tilak Holi (India’s most popular festival of colors) at the roof top of Raisar Plaza (the most popular IT Market of Rajasthan) Jaipur on 5th March 2015 .
The colourful state of Rajasthan plays Holi much the same way as Mathura. A night before the full moon, crowds of people gather together and light huge bonfires to burn the residual dried leaves and twigs of the winter. People throw coloured water and powders (gulal and kumkum) at each other and make merry. Singing, dancing and the traditional beats of dhol add to the gaiety of the occasion.
In RCTA Tilak Holi all RCTA Members gathered at the roof top of Raisar Plaza and celebrate the festival of colors. Dayashankar Sharma (PRO, RCTA) hosted the event. Mr. Sugriv Singh Ranawat (Prisedent, RCTA) welcomed all members by putting a “Tilak” on the arrival of members. All members enjoyed the festival of colors by Gulal and Flowers. RCTA Tilak Holi gives a massage to public to celebrate Dry Holi and Save Water as well.
Traditional Chang and Phag (special Rajasthani Holi song) perfomed by Mr. Rajesh Nahata and Mr. Malay Nahta was the special “TADKA” of the event.
After celebration all members enjoyed the snacks and Thandai (Special Drink of Rajasthan).
Mr. Mihir Sharma (Secretary of RCTA) thanked to all members for coming and make grand success the event.
