Realme GT Neo 5 Variant with 150W Charging was spotted getting benchmarked on Geekbench

The upcoming release from Realme is the hotly anticipated Realme GT Neo 5. Two Realme devices with the model codes RMX3706 and RMX708 received TENAA certification last month. Both variants were discovered to be outfitted with the same specifications, with the exception of containing variously sized batteries with various charge capacities. The RMX3706 model has been identified on Geekbench, and the RMX3708 variant was first noticed there earlier this month.

The RMX3706 has the same 3.00GHz Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU and 16 GB of RAM as the RMX3708 model. The gadget is anticipated to ship with an Android 13 OS built on the Realme UI 4.0 platform. The RMX3706 received a score of 1277 on Geekbench 5’s single-core test. It received a score of 3917 on the multi-core exam.

According to TENAA listings, the Realme GT Neo 5 will include an under-display fingerprint reader and a 6.74-inch OLED display with a punch-hole design. The display’s 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution of 2772 × 1240 pixels are both supported.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 underclocked variant was initially used in a phone, the OPPO Reno 9 Pro+, which made its debut in November 2022. The Realme GT Neo 5 will be powered by the same SoC. According to TENAA listings for both models, the gadget will ship with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.

A 5,000mAh battery will be included in the GT Neo 5 variant with model number RMX3706, while a 4,600mAh battery will be included in the RMX3708 variant. Both versions will accommodate charging at 150W and 240W, respectively. It will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS on the back. It will be paired with a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It will sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The GT Neo 5 is anticipated to debut in China and other markets in February.
