Realme has unveiled the Narzo N55, the second smartphone from the company to come with the Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule feature. This feature shows battery status, data usage, and step count, but the last two functions will be available later via an OTA update.
The Narzo N55 runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 and is powered by the Helio G88 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, along with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports storage expansion up to 1TB.
The Narzo N55 sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ 90Hz LCD display with a punch-hole for the 8MP front-facing camera. It also features two large circles on the back housing the 64MP primary camera and a 2MP monochrome unit.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, UltraBoom Speaker with Dirac’s audio tuning, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also has a USB-C port and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging that can charge from 0 to 50% in just 29 minutes.
Interestingly, the Narzo N55 is a rebranded version of the Realme C55, with one less memory configuration. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Realme has launched a Narzo series smartphone as a rebadged version of a non-Narzo series smartphone.
The phone is available in Prime Blue and Prime Black colors and will be sold through Amazon.in and Realme’s official Indian website. Sales begin on April 13 at noon local time in India. The Narzo N55 is priced at INR10,999 ($135/€120) and INR12,999 ($160/€145), respectively. Although the phone is only available in India, it is expected to launch in other markets soon.
