Redmi Note 9 5G series is going to be launched in China as early as 24th November. A tipster has rumored the launch date of the Redmi Note 9 5G series ahead of its certified validation. The series is speculated to have at least 2 latest models, with MediaTek and Qualcomm processors. It is possible to include the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G that is further known as the Redmi Note 9 High Edition as well as the Redmi Note 9 5G that is rumored as the Note 9 Standard Edition.
As noticed by someone on Twitter, it has been reported that the Redmi Note 9 5G series launch date could be proclaimed sometime this week, whereas the launch could take place via an event on the coming Tuesday.

The company hasn’t yet made any validations about the Redmi Note 9 5G series. Although, the rumor mill has recommended that there could be 2 latest models that will both arrive with 5G support.
A report had suggested that the Redmi Note 9 5G also known as Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition in the latest series could cost CNY 1,000, whereas the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G also known as Redmi Note 9 High Edition will come at CNY 1,500. The GM of Redmi further hinted something about the new models. Although, Xiaomi has not delivered any official details till now.
Expected features of Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition
The smartphone surfaced on China’s TENAA with a model no. M2007J22C. It appeared with a Full-HD+ IPS display of 6.53-inch, MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, a RAM of 8GB, and storage space of 256GB. Additionally, the listing on the TENAA site suggested triple rear cameras and a primary sensor of 48mp.
Expected features of Redmi Note 9 High Edition
The TENAA site further listed the specifications of a smartphone with a model no. M2007J17C that could be it. The smartphone appeared to have a full-HD+ display of 6.67-inch, Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, a RAM of 12GB, and a storage space of 256GB. It is further rumored to have a primary camera sensor of 108mp.
