Redmi Note 9 model sporting a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and AdaptiveSync technology may be presented in the coming days, according to a report. Also, a tipster has shared some data on Weibo suggesting that the top-end configuration of the latest Note 9 series model will arrive with a 2.5D LCD display of 6.7-inch which is going to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Earlier, it was reported that the base model might arrive with a high refresh rate.
A known tipster has posted on the Chinese microblogging website i.e. Weibo that the high-end model of the supposed latest Redmi Note 9 series will have a 120Hz display, and it will support AdaptiveSync technology on refresh rates which are 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. The tipster has further shared the information of the LCD display saying that it will be a 2.5D panel and it will measure 6.67-inch with a Full-HD+ and a pixel resolution of 2400 x 1080.
The tipster has also said that the display of the unproven Redmi Note 9 option has a different ratio of 1500:1, brightness of 450 nits, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, and also a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display is also going to have a Reading Mode 3.0.
The news has arrived after a day when a similar tipster had said that a model of the Redmi Note 9 is going to get a high refresh rate display. Both these smartphones are going to be a part of a 3-smartphone line-up of the Note 9 series. One of them is said to arrive armed with a primary snapper of 108mp, which will be a 1st for the company sub-brand. The smartphone is also going to have a hole-punch cut-out in the center of the display screen.
