Reliance Jio launches Diwali offer; to give 100% cashback on Rs 399 recharge
Reliance Jio has rolled out a Diwali offer for its prepaid subscribers. Firing a a fresh salvo in the ongoing tariff war in the telecom segment, the Mukesh Ambani-owned company will be giving 100% cashback to its customers as part of the offer.
As per the Diwali offer, Jio users will get 100% cashback on every recharge of Rs 399. To avail the offer, subscribers need to recharge their number between October 12 to October 18. As part of the cashback, the telco will offer eight vouchers of Rs 50 each (amounting to Rs 400), which can be redeemed on future recharges of Rs 309 or above and on add on recharges of Rs 91 and above. However, the users will be able to use only one voucher at a time and can start using them from November 15 onwards. Reliance Jio has also extended the Diwali offer for the subscribers whose validity is still left. This means that the recharge of Rs 399 will come in effect once their ongoing pack has expired. For instance, if their pack expires on November 13, then their Diwali recharge will start from there.
The users can avail the offer via MyJio app, Jio.com website, Jio Store outlets, Paytm, Amazon Pay, PhonePe, Reliance Digital outlets and company’s offline and online partners. The company rolled out Rs 399 plan in August this year. As part of the plan the Relaince Jio users will get 84GB data with unlimited local and STD calling for the period of 84 days.
In competition to Reliance Jio, the rival telecom operator Airtel also rolled out a Rs 399 plan for its prepaid subscribers. Airtel’s plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls and 84GB data with a vaildity of 84 days.
