Reliance Jio has launched a new app – JioHealthHub. As the name suggests, JioHealthHub is a health and fitness-based app that allows users to create/maintain their health profiles and track their overall fitness. With the new app, users can upload their medical prescriptions, bills and lab reports, as well as share them with family members and medical care providers. The data can be viewed by all shared participants, but they can’t make any changes to it. Moreover, JioHealthHub, through its network of partner labs and hospitals, pushes test reports to the app automatically. This makes critical data available instantly for anytime reference. According to a recent report, Reliance Jio has started rolling out its Jio Fiber (Fiber To The Home or FTTH) service in Mumbai.
As reported by India Today, there are some buildings in Mumbai where users can subscribe to the service. Rushabh Vora, a resident of Rahul building in Walkeshwar Road, informed the publication that Jio Fiber connectivity is available in his building and people are already using it. The telco claims that FTTH offers speeds up to 1Gbps, but users are getting somewhere between 70Mbps to 100Mbps.
As part of the introductory offer, Jio is offering three months of free and unlimited high speed internet access to its users. But they have to pay Rs 4,500 as charges for the router. The company has not yet revealed the amount users will have to pay after the end of three months. Moreover, it has not explained the process of how one can apply for a Jio FTTH connection.
