Ricoh India has launched two new production printers Pro C7100x series, Pro L4160 and Pro L4130.
The Pro L4160 and L4130 mark Ricoh’s entry into wide-format graphics color printer category. With a palette of seven colors, CMYK, orange, green and white aqueous latex inks, the printers offer increased color capabilities and the ability to print on clear as well as backlit substrates such as PVC, tarpaulin, synthetic paper, coated-paper, non-coated paper and textiles.
The Pro C7100x series is the latest five color production printer series, with an added station for either white or clear ink. It is ideal for small to medium sized graphic arts businesses, direct mailers, service bureaus, digital printers and centralized reprographic departments, with features designed to support print service providers seeking to increase their current digital printing capacity, enter new markets and explore new digital opportunities.
The company also announced lifetime warranty for toners. “The support package now comes with a -1, -3 and 5-year warranty. Besides the customer also has the option of taking up comprehensive customer care contract which is prevailing in the industry,” said Manoj Kumar, Executive Vice President and CEO, Ricoh India.
He added, “The last three years have been a dream run for Ricoh India where we saw a growth of 50 percent CAGR. The production printer has been one of the key growth drivers and with the launch of these new products we expect the category to grow over 30 percent every year.”
