Routesms, a leading messaging and voice API company and one of the top global SMS aggregators, today announced that it has re-christened itself to Routemobile to aptly reflect the new businesses and ambitions of the company.

Started in May 2004, Routesms (now Routemobile) is one of the foremost players in the global SMS industry routing 2.6 billion messages every month through its own technologies built at its R&D Centre in Malad, Mumbai. It is growing at a CAGR of over 50% y-o-y.

Notwithstanding its strong foothold in the messaging business, Routesms has grown to building more products and proving more services. The company is already into Voice Solutions. It is also looking to offer a complete suite of products & services to enterprises including mobile payments and products in the IoT (Internet of Things) space.
