Saguna Networks, an innovative provider of Radio Access Network (RAN) application acceleration and mobile content delivery on HSPA and LTE networks, today announced that the company will be participating in the upcoming LTE Asia 2013 conference at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore on September 17-19.
At the LTE Asia 2013 conference, Saguna Networks’ Vice President of Products, Ofer Talmor, will be participating in a panel discussion on Managing Surging Mobile Video Traffic and will be discussing RAN-based caching and its benefits to mobile network operators and their users.
Saguna Networks will also be exhibiting at LTE Asia 2013 and demonstrating its Saguna CODS solution. Saguna CODS optimizes the delivery of mobile content and applications for mobile network operators. Saguna CODS allows mobile network operators to bring the Internet domain inside their mobile networks and deliver popular Internet content and applications directly from the Radio Access Network, which is the physically closest possible delivery point to the mobile user. By utilizing the Radio Access Network as a storage cloud, Saguna CODS enables mobile network operators to significantly reduce content deliver costs by up to 70%, improve user experience and create new OTT monetization opportunities.
Saguna Networks will be located at booth number 3.
Mobile data traffic volumes are exploding across Asia, although with the commoditization of most mobile services, many mobile network operators currently are not profiting from mobile data,” explained Lior Fite, CEO of Saguna Networks. “We are looking forward to demonstrating our content and application acceleration solution at LTE Asia and explaining its benefits to the mobile network operators in the region.
