After Kaspersky parted away with its three year old national distributor Sakri IT Solutions, Sakri has filled the gap with another home grown antivirus brand K7 Computing.The Sakri- Kaspersky partnership came to an ended on Jan. 1 and Sakri will be announcing the partnership with K7 Computing in New Delhi on Monday.
Talking to Channeltimes, Pune-based Sakri were confident that they would be able to fill the gap created by Kaspersky with other brands. “This is not an end of the world, however Kaspersky was contributing 30% to our revenue. We will soon fill the gap with other internet security brands. At the same time we will grow and focus on our new hardware business,” said K Ravi Laxshman, CEO, Sakri IT Solutions.
Headquartered in Chennai, K7 is a multi-million-dollar company in terms of revenues. As per the reports the firm doubled its revenues in 2013, to surpass $10 million and is now eyeing revenues of $20 million in the current financial year (FY14).
K7 Computing currently provides a slew of software products in areas such as threat detection, Web protection, data backup and recovery solutions to enterprises and other end-users.
