Samsung may soon launch its Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone in India. A handset bearing model number SM-C701F (same as the C7 Pro) recently received Wi-Fi certification. The same device was also recently spotted on the company’s India website.
The Galaxy C7 Pro was launched in China, back in January this year. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. It’s backed by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. There’s also 64GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB in size.
For imaging duties, Galaxy C7 Pro has a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture. The camera can record Full HD videos.
The 4G LTE-capable Galaxy C7 Pro includes USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and all major connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It’s backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be available in three colours – Gold, Pink and Blue. The company listing page reads that the handset has an efficient heat pipe cooling system. Samsung Pay support is also there.
There is no official word as to when the Galaxy C7 Pro will be launched in the Indian market.
Earlier this month, Samsung slashed the price of its
Galaxy A9 Pro
smartphone in India. Now available at a price of Rs 29,900, the A9 Pro comes with a large 5,000mAh battery. There’s also fast charging support, which is claimed to fully charge the battery in just two hours.
For those unaware, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and features a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM.
There’s also 32GB of in-built storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD cards.
For imaging duties, Galaxy A9 Pro has a 16MP autofocus rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.
