Samsung Galaxy C8 smartphone with dual camera launched in China
South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung has launched its latest C series smartphone in China. Dubbed Galaxy C8, the smartphone will come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour options and will soon go on sale in the country.
The Samsung Galaxy C8 features a Full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and comes with dual SIM functionality. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by installing a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy C8 sports a dual rear camera setup with one 13MP and other 5MP modules with LED flash. There’s also a 16MP front snapper with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash for selfies. Measuring 152.4 x 74.7 x 7.9mm, the smartphone packs a 3,000 mAH battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. Recently, Samsung has started sending out invites for the India launch of its flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 8 in India. The company has already started taking registrations for the top-end smartphone on its India website ( www.samsung.com/in ). A ‘pre-registration’ button greets users right on the home page, just below the Galaxy Note 8 banner. A clicking on the same takes users to a page where which asks for information like name, email address, phone number and pin code. Along with this, the company is also asking users to pick one thing that they are looking for in Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. “What are you looking for in your Galaxy Note 8′, goes the question on the company’s website. The options include: a superior camera, a premium stylish design, enhanced battery life, water and dust resistance, powerful gaming performance and enhanced virtual reality experience. There’s no payment requirement for the registration process.
