Samsung ‘s Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone is available for pre-orders in India. Launched at a price tag of Rs 39,990, the smartphone is now up for pre-order on the company’s official website in the country as well as its retailers across the country. Galaxy C9 Pro is the first smartphone from the company to come with 6GB RAM. It’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC, has a 6-inch display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution and weighs 189gm. For imaging duties, the handset has a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, phase detection autofocus and a dual-tone LED flash. There’s a 16MP unit on the front as well.
The dual-SIM C9 Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Wi-Fi as connectivity options. It’s backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The company is also offering exclusive offers to customers who pre-book smartphone before February 12. These include one-time screen replacement for a period of 12 months. Last month, Samsung launched its much-awaited Gear S3 smartwatch in India. Originally unveiled in September 2016 at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin, Germany, the Gear S3 is available in two variants – Frontier and Classic.
The company has launched both variants in the country at a price tag of Rs 28,500. The device is available across all authorized retail outlets. Both variants of the Gear S3 will be available with 22mm straps. The two variants differ in terms of weight, design and connectivity options. The Frontier variant weighs 62gm, sports a rugged outdoor ‘enduring’ style and is 3G/LTE-enabled. The Classic edition weighs 57gm, has a ‘minimalistic elegant’ design and lacks support for 3G/LTE.
