Samsung is all set to launch its latest smartphone – Galaxy J7 Prime, in India. According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the company will soon be launching the Galaxy J7 Prime at a price tag of Rs 18,790.
In terms of specifications, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime features a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution secured with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Powering the device is a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by installing microSD cards. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with dual-sim functionality.
Having a fingerprint sensor, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, along with an 8MP front-facing snapper for selfies. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options.
Samsung recently launched its much awaited Gear S3 smartwatch at a pre-IFA 2016 conference in Berlin, Germany. Like last time, the company has launched two variants of the device – Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic. Both smartwatches run the company’s Tizen OS 2.3.2.
Samsung Gear S3 features a 1.3-inch circular Super Amoled display of 360×360 pixel resolution and 278ppi pixel density. It comes with rotating bezel along with enhanced new features. The smartwatch also has a full colour ‘Always On’ display with Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ protection. Powering the wearable is a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz coupled with 768MB of RAM, which is more than the Gear S2’s 512MB of RAM. The internal storage of the smartwatch stays the same at 4GB.
