- Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users face bricking and continuous crashes on the device.
- The issue seems to be on handsets based on Exynos processor.
- Some official Samsung dealers too reportedly not able to overcome the problem.
Seems Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users are facing a tough time. Several forums on internet are full of problems that users are facing with the new Samsung device.
Several users have complained of the Samsung’s latest phablet crashing, bootlooping and even bricking at times.
“Anyone else have such issues with their new Note 7? Right out of the box after the update my device started freezing with weird glitch lines on the screen and restarting by itself, often multiple times before it loads up to my lock screen. It also frequently gets into a bootloop and the device gets really hot until i simulate a battery pull with Power+VolDown,” said one of the users on XDA forum.
As per users on these forums, the issue shows up after few days of regular use. The smartphone smarts to bootloop initially and when users try to run it on Safe mode, the situation gets worse. It has also been mentioned that the smartphone also crashes during the Recovery. In addition, factory resets and deleting the cache also doesn’t seem to work.
As per user reports coming from XDA forums and Android Central, the authorised Samsung shops have also not been able to deal with the problem.
It is being said that the Galaxy Note 7 phablets running on the octa-core Exynos processor are facing the issue for now. Samsung has not yet mentioned anything about the issue.
The complaints come as a surprise as the handset features top-of-the-line processor and the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It also has 4GB RAM, which is ample enough to carry most of the heavy application.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phablet is successor to the company’s Galaxy Note 5 launched last year. It was introduced the handset at IFA 2016 earlier this month and later brought it to India at Rs 59,999.
