A new entry to Samsung’s budget Android powered smartphone portfolio, the Galaxy Pocket Neo, is now available on Infibeam.com for a price of Rs. 7,310. The smartphone is listed as an in stock product on the website. As of writing this story, the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo S5312 is also listed on the online retailer Flipkart for a price of Rs. 6,990.
The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo has a 3-inch QVGA TFT LCD and is powered by an 850MHz processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The rear of the smartphone has a 2MP camera and it compromises on a front facing camera. The smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean skinned with the TouchWiz UI, has 4GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. A 1200mAh battery powers the device. In terms of connectivity options the smartphone supports dual-SIM capabilities, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
