Samsung has quietly launched a new smartphone called the Galaxy S Duos 
3-VE. As the name suggests it is an upgraded variant of the Galaxy S Duos 3, which went on sale in India back in September. The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,650 and is on sale via the company’s India e-Store.
Samsung has also revealed the specifications of the smartphone. We assume that the list is incomplete because there is no mention about the front camera and 3G support. Earlier we had reported that the company has unveiled an updated version of Galaxy S Duos 3 in India at a price of Rs 7100. Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 G316HU is a slightly tweaked version and is made available pretty silently by the company. Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom revealed the information about the device on the social media. The phone was originally launched in September last year. All we know is that Samsung has worked on the processor and has replaced the 1GHz dual-core chip with a 1.2GHz dual-core chip.
According to the records of import-data tracking website Zauba.com, Samsung doesn’t plan to give away the previous variant. The company is willing to keep both the S Duos 3 G313HU and G316HU in the market, as it is importing both smartphone units in the country. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 G313HU is available at around Rs 6,500 in India.
