Samsung has recently unveiled a new Galaxy Tab series tablet in Taiwan. Named as Galaxy Tab E, the newest tablet would be available by the end of this month. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the global release of Samsung Galaxy Tab E.
Samsung Galaxy Tab E comes with a 24cm (9.6-inch) WXGA TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, the phone features 1.5GB RAM and 8GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD.
Backed by a non-removable 5000mAh battery, Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a Wi-Fi supporting device. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and weighs 490 grams.
The tablet sports a 5MP auto-focus rear camera and a 2MP front-facing snapper with the recording capacity of 720p videos at 30fps. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.0, and GPS/GLONASS.
Priced at Rs. 14,500, Samsung Galaxy Tab E cannot be defined as a top-end tablet but a pocket friendly device.
