Against all the rumors, Samsung did not announce the release of Galaxy Tab S3 last month and there is no sign that indicates the 
company’s intention about this awaited launch. Android tablets may feel like a dying beast, but the latest rumors suggest Samsung hasn’t given up on them just yet.
It is being predicted that with the Galaxy Tab S3 Samsung is set to make a follow up to 2015’s Galaxy Tab S2. The prior one was specifically preferred by the users for its lighter design and improved TouchWiz software.
It wasn’t without issues though, as the spec upgrade was only small and we weren’t all that impressed by the battery life. But the Galaxy Tab S2 is still in a respectable place in the top selling tab’s list – so if Samsung gives it some impressive upgrades for the Tab S3 it may be ready to take the top spot.
Release date
It has been a long time that Samsung launched Galaxy Tab S2 in last July so it was widely believed that the S3 might be appeared at IAF 2016 but in the end, there was nothing. Now the market experts are expecting its launch at CES 2017 in January next year.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 specs and rumors
There is not much known about the spec of the Galaxy Tab S3, but as per the leaked information by the trusted sources, the design of new tablet seems to confirm. It might not be looking like the Galaxy Tab S2. The home button will be at the bottom of the screen with 4:3 display ratio. Once again there is going to be a plastic back.
The design of Galaxy Tab S2 was liked by both the users and critics, so again there will be no big issue with the design of Tab 3. And now, it will be interesting to see a spec upgrade inside the tablet to make it a worthwhile update.
One rumor suggests it’ll boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM, a 4,000mAh battery and 32GB of storage. Leaked benchmarks also gave the tablet a multi-core score of 4,275 – which is lower than the Galaxy S7, but still impressive. The next thing that is being predicted about Galaxy Tab3 is coming with an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front or selfie camera.

The price of the Galaxy Tab S3 will come down to a lot of factors. The Galaxy Tab S2 cost $399, £319, AU$499 for the smallest storage size and 8-inch version of the tablet.
