Samsung Intros Latest Rang Of Tablets Called Galaxy Tab S2

Samsung has spilled the beans about its latest range of tablets called Galaxy Tab S2. According to the latest reports, the new Tab S2 will come in two variants, one with 24.63cm (9.7-inch) screen and the other sporting a 20.32 (8 inch) screen.

Interestingly, both the devices would come with a metal frame of 5.6mm thickness. With the introduction of the devices, Samsung has set the record of building the world’s thinnest tablet. The record was earlier set by iPad Air 2, Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet and Dell Venue 8 7000.

While the 24.63cm tablet weighs 389 grams, the other model has a mass of only 265 grams. Powered by a Qualcomm 64-bit octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, the phone comes with a 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage, depending on the model. Both the variants feature AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.

The device probably features an 8MP rear camera apart from 2.1MP front facing camera which promises to capture good images. If reports are to be believed, the handset might also have a fingerprint reader which would enable the user to lock or unlock the device with just a touch of the home key. While the price is still under the wraps, Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to be available next month onwards.
