Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 (8-inch) and Galaxy Tab 3 211 (7-inch) tablets, which aim to provide consumers a refined way to view, create, listen and share meaningful content for the users.
The first tablet launched in the new Samsung Galaxy Tab range is Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311. This 20.3-cm (8-inch) tablet will be available in two variants including Galaxy Tab 3 311 which has 3G (voice and data) connectivity and the Galaxy Tab 3 310 which is a Wi-Fi only tablet.
The Galaxy Tab 3 311 is just 7.4mm thin and runs on Android 4.2 aka Jelly Bean operating system. It comes packed with 1.5GHz dual core processor with a 1.5 GB RAM and offers multitasking capabilities. It offers the ‘multi window’ feature that allows the user to work on two apps simultaneously by splitting the screen into two. The latest Android tablet features a 5MP rear camera and 1.9 MP front camera and packs 16 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 64 GB with MicroSD card. The Galaxy Tab 3 311 sports 4450 mAh battery.
The other tablet PC launched in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 range is Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211. It is a 17.7-cm (7-inch) tablet PC which packs a 75 display (168 ppi). It has a thinner bezel as compared to that offered in Galaxy Tab 2. The tablet PC packs a 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1 GB RAM. It offers 8GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB along with a 4000 mAh battery. Additionally, it has a 3 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front camera. The latest tablet PC runs on Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean operating system.
The Tab 3 comes with a host of services including ‘My Education’, ‘My Offers’, ‘My Games’, ‘My Music’ and ‘My Movies’. ‘My Education’ offers access to around 2000 e-books, 1000 Leaning videos, educational content for school children and preparatory material for entrance exams to professional courses. ‘My Offer’ allows the users to access local offers from over 350 brands and 25000 merchants across India. Users can also access 25 Edutainment Games and 20 HD Games in Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 series.
